Lelihana Films kickstarted its operation in the year 2019 and is growing by leaps and bounds. We specialise in slick production values and attention to detail. Our method involves an in-depth and highly collaborative process starting with intense research and brainstorming sessions before coming up with the concepts. By working with clarity and proper preparation, the skilled team at Lelihana Films are able to deliver films that are cinematic in nature.
DIRECTOR
The man behind the name, Ajay Gurunatha, is a passionate visual storyteller. He brings on to the table a wide range of experience spanning across Narrative Films, Ad Films, Still Creatives and Theatre. His debut directorial feature film “Mrigatrishna” has been recognised and awarded by 17th Bengaluru International Film Festival and 15th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival.
A computer science engineering graduate, he began his career in the field of arts and communication by assisting in set design and freelancing as a graphic designer. Soon he rose to become a theatre actor and performed in various productions across Karnataka, simultaneously honing skills in screenwriting and directing.
Soon, he wrote and directed a short film ‘TIRAMISU’, which was critically appreciated and also through which he became an assistant director in kannada language films. After working as an assistant director under a A-list Director Mr. Shashank, Ajay launched his career as a producer/director under his own banner – Lelihana Films. There has been no looking back since then.
Besides working on commercials and corporate Films, he also works as a screenwriter for different production houses and is also in the verge of directing his feature film.
